The men sent to my house did an amazing job. They arrived on time and worked from 9 to 4:30. Their wrapping was exceptional. We had a different crew unload us because we moved out of state. They even commented the job was incredibly! Nothing broke and no scratches! My daughter is moving soon and I recommended her to use them! She is going to use them. Our coordinator Liz was amazing helping us through the process!
Movers Hudson MA
Movers Hudson MA trust for local, long-distance & commercial moves in this revitalized MetroWest mill town.
Hudson was incorporated in 1866, named for Charles Hudson after he donated $500 toward a public library — a modest gift that bought the town a permanent name. Powered by the Assabet River, Hudson grew into a shoe-manufacturing hub with 17 factories at its peak before that industry faded by the late 1960s. The town reinvented itself in the late 20th century as home to a major Digital Equipment Corporation semiconductor plant (later Intel's only New England chip fab, operating until 2014), and today Hudson is known for its revitalized Main Street, the Assabet River Rail Trail, and easy access to I-495. DN Van Lines' Northborough branch is close by, and our crews regularly handle moves in and around Hudson's downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.
Whether you're moving across town, across the state, or across the country, DN Van Lines has served Hudson and the surrounding area since 2003 as a federally licensed, fully insured, W-2-crewed moving company.
Local Moving Services in Hudson, MA
Hudson's neighborhoods mix older mill-era homes near downtown with newer construction further out, connected by a Main Street that's been recognized nationally for its revitalization. Our local moving services are planned around Hudson's actual streets and building types, not a generic citywide approach.
Long-Distance Moves From Hudson, MA
Hudson sits close to Route 62, Route 85, and I-495, making it a convenient starting point for a long-distance move in almost any direction. DN Van Lines operates branches in Sterling, Virginia, Maryland, and Jacksonville, Florida, so a long-distance move from Hudson to any of those regions stays with one federally licensed carrier from pickup to delivery. See our full long-distance moving services for how interstate pricing and scheduling work.
Commercial & Office Moves in Hudson, MA
Hudson's Main Street is now a mix of independent shops, restaurants, and breweries, alongside continued light-industrial and office space near the former DEC/Intel site. Our commercial and office moving teams schedule Hudson business relocations for evenings and weekends to avoid disrupting operations, and coordinate IT disconnect/reconnect timing so systems are down for the shortest possible window.
Packing Services for Hudson, MA Homes
Hudson's older mill-town housing stock, particularly homes built during its 19th-century shoe-manufacturing boom, often comes with narrow staircases and older fixtures that call for custom crating rather than standard box-and-wrap treatment. Our packing services cover exactly that, along with full-service pack/unpack for anyone who'd rather not spend a week wrapping glassware themselves.
Storage Options Near Hudson, MA
Not every Hudson move lines up neatly between an old lease and a new one, and our storage services cover that gap with short-term bridging storage, along with longer-term storage for anyone downsizing out of a larger home. All storage is climate-controlled and available at our nearby Northborough and Auburn facilities.
Moving Near the Assabet River Rail Trail
Hudson's revitalized downtown centers around the Assabet River Rail Trail, and many of the town's most sought-after homes and apartments sit within walking distance of it. If your move is timed around finding a place near the trail or Main Street, our crews are familiar with the parking and access patterns in that part of town.
What Moving Day Looks Like With Hudson Movers
Our crews arrive within a confirmed window and walk the space with you first, noting fragile items and confirming the plan for stairs, driveways, or tight doorways before anything gets lifted. We lay down floor runners and door-jamb protection at both ends of the move. Every shipment carries federally required valuation coverage at minimum, and we'll walk you through full-value protection options for higher-value items.
Serving Hudson and Nearby Communities
Hudson sits close to several towns we regularly serve: Marlborough, Bolton, Berlin, Stow, and Northborough — all served by the same regional fleet, so a short move between any of these towns doesn't add cost or complexity.
Why Hudson Movers Choose DN Van Lines
DN Van Lines has been independently owned and operating in Massachusetts since 2003. Every mover on our trucks is a background-checked, W-2 employee — never day labor or an unfamiliar subcontracted crew. We're A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau, federally licensed under USDOT 1141917, and approved for Department of Defense and GSA relocations. What Our Customers Say
Verified reviews from people who have moved with DN Van Lines.
Incredible movers! Great communication throughout the entire process. Once they arrived at my new apartment the elevators broke!!! But the guys weren’t phased. They carried all my furniture and boxes up two flights of stairs without complaint or charging me extra!!! USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!
Best moving company we have ever used. This is our second move in a year and we used them both times. We got completely different crews each time and both were phenomenal. No complaining about things being heavy, great care with all furniture and belongings, polite, very hard workers. They actually work the whole time they are there ( we have had others that stand around talking and taking many breaks). Pricing was very reasonable and coordination of the move with Tommie was very well communicated and clear! No surprises at the end like many moving companies. Highly highly recommend!
DN Van lines were very helpful with our PCS pack up. The team made up of Kevin F, Steve P, and Richard Z were awesome. These guys were fast, efficient and very professional. Also super nice! We appreciated them every step of the way. Thanks so much for helping us with our move!
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience moving from MA to MI. Liz the move coordinator was top notch. Answered all my questions promptly and was super helpful. The moving crew led by Eduardo were so fast and careful loading and unloading. Great experience from beginning to end
I have had my furniture in storage with them for 6+ years. I finally moved it to our second home in SC. They have gone far beyond my expectations on beholding my forever furniture. Liz was amazing on coordinating my move seamlessly. The movers were professional and so patient with me trying to find the right fit. I knew I had more furniture than I needed, Liz said no problem , send it back and they would donate it to women in need. I highly recommend them. A local business who takes care of their local clients and beyond. I thank them so very much!!
