Local movers in Newbury Massachusetts specializing in moving services, climate controlled storage, & packing. Get an estimate from DN Van Lines today!
For a small town in Massachusetts, Newbury has had quite a varied history, from being one of the very first areas settled by the Puritans to an incarnation as a silver mining town. Today, Newbury is a residential community with many historic homes listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Coffin House, James Noyes House and Swett-Ilsley House, all from the 17th Century.
The town also used to be a Victorian seaside resort when the railroad trucked in tourists who vacationed at Plum Island. It also morphed from a mill town into an agricultural area, as it supplied many in the state with eggs, milk, poultry and, of course, clams.
If you are moving to this burg that is chock full of history, you will need a Newbury moving company that has historically done an outstanding job. A “movers Newbury MA” Web search will give you a list of Newbury movers, but no clue as to which Newbury moving company has the happiest customers and highest professional ratings.
That Newbury moving company would be DN Van Lines, which has plenty of written and video documentation of satisfied customers and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
One reason why DN Van Lines has been so well-liked is its ability to take care of any Newbury storage needs that its customers might have after the move. Because of its huge, safe facility near Boston, DN Van Lines can store any items that do not fit into your new residence, saving you the time needed for additional “storage Newbury MA” Web searches.

The men sent to my house did an amazing job. They arrived on time and worked from 9 to 4:30. Their wrapping was exceptional. We had a different crew unload us because we moved out of state. They even commented the job was incredibly! Nothing broke and no scratches! My daughter is moving soon and I recommended her to use them! She is going to use them. Our coordinator Liz was amazing helping us through the process!
Incredible movers! Great communication throughout the entire process. Once they arrived at my new apartment the elevators broke!!! But the guys weren’t phased. They carried all my furniture and boxes up two flights of stairs without complaint or charging me extra!!! USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!
Our crew was fantastic and took such great care of our things. Our house was put in the truck and unloaded the same day and with great care. They communicated with us when some issues did arise and we're sure to verify where everything went before putting it in the new house. Anything they thought would break they told us about and put it in our car for us. Overall a fantastic experience and I would reccomend them to anyone.
Best moving company we have ever used. This is our second move in a year and we used them both times. We got completely different crews each time and both were phenomenal. No complaining about things being heavy, great care with all furniture and belongings, polite, very hard workers. They actually work the whole time they are there ( we have had others that stand around talking and taking many breaks). Pricing was very reasonable and coordination of the move with Tommie was very well communicated and clear! No surprises at the end like many moving companies. Highly highly recommend!
DN Van lines were very helpful with our PCS pack up. The team made up of Kevin F, Steve P, and Richard Z were awesome. These guys were fast, efficient and very professional. Also super nice! We appreciated them every step of the way. Thanks so much for helping us with our move!
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience moving from MA to MI. Liz the move coordinator was top notch. Answered all my questions promptly and was super helpful. The moving crew led by Eduardo were so fast and careful loading and unloading. Great experience from beginning to end
Could not recommend this company enough. Elizabeth, our move coordinator, was clear, easy to communicate with, and always available for any questions we had. We had a team of 3 movers help us out day-of, and they worked SO hard, non-stop from the moment they got there- not to mention on a very hot day! When we arrived at our new home, they asked us about each piece of furniture, and placed it in the room exactly where we would want it, set everything up. Overall very thorough, and we were very impressed!
I have had my furniture in storage with them for 6+ years. I finally moved it to our second home in SC. They have gone far beyond my expectations on beholding my forever furniture. Liz was amazing on coordinating my move seamlessly. The movers were professional and so patient with me trying to find the right fit. I knew I had more furniture than I needed, Liz said no problem , send it back and they would donate it to women in need. I highly recommend them. A local business who takes care of their local clients and beyond. I thank them so very much!!
Your team was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. I, as well as my brother and sister could not believe how efficient and respectful they all were and how they carefully handled my possessions. I would give them a 10 star rating. And, your price was extremely reasonable. Nice to find such a committed team of workers.
DN Van Lines was excellent to work with. Liz was very helpful in coordinating and planning my move. The crew was amazing! They were professional, courteous, and very hard working. Overall and great experience.
